Welcome to the website of the Visa & Immigration Section of the Australian Embassy in Ankara.
Our office processes visa applications from nationals and legal residents of the following countries:
Georgia, Turkey
The contact details of our DIAC office in Ankara is detailed on this site. Applicants will be contacted at key processing milestones and if further information is required. Applicants can assist in this process by submitting complete applications with all supporting documentation.
Applicants will be notified once a decision is made and should not make final travel arrangements until they receive written advice from our office that their visa has been granted.
This website provides basic information on visa and migration issues to Australia in English and Turkish. For more detailed information, please visit the official DIAC website www.immi.gov.au
DIAC is required by law to keep on file all documentation provided in support of a visa application. Any documents provided in an application, can therefore not be returned to the applicant. Applicants should provide certified copies of original documents that they do not wish to be kept by DIAC.
